Tabby has a goal of visiting all of the National Parks in the USA. One of those parks happens to be located near Terlingua Texas, on the boarder of the USA and Mexico. It's a very remote area, and as an example, the nearest Walmart isn't within any reasonable driving distance. Thousand Trails Hidden Cove is located just a couple miles outside Arley, Alabama. Arley is a very small town in northern Alabama, on Lewis Smith Lake. According to Wikipedia, Arley has a population of about 350 and that is actually down from a 2010 survey. It's location and distance from other larger cities gives Arley a very remote feel and seems to sustain itself on the traffic it receives from Lewis Smith Lake. Northgate RV Travel Park
Just inside of the state of Alabama, just outside the city of Athens, we found this little RV Park. If you are looking for amenities, stop now and drive on. But, if you are looking for a place to park your rig and take a break from the road, this little gem might just fit your needs. Northgate RV Travel Park is really nothing more than a small field with large pull through sites. A little word of caution though.
